Policy workshop conducted by IMPACT TB with the National Tuberculosis Program of Nepal

The workshop titled “IMPACT TB Consultation Meeting of Nepal National Tuberculosis Centre and Stakeholders involved in Active TB Detection Policy in Nepal: Successes, Challenges and Research Priorities” will be held in Kathmandu on April 3, 2017.
The workshop will bring together stakeholders with experience in TB control in Nepal and experts in active TB detection from international organizations to share their experiences in other countries. The objectives of the workshop are to review the current policy and experience of active TB detection in Nepal, to review the facilitators and barriers to active TB detection, as envisioned in discussions with experienced stakeholders, and to identify research priorities for active TB detection in Nepal that can be addressed by the IMPACT TB project and future grant applications. The workshop will also develop a roadmap for how to translate research findings into policy and practice.
