On April 3, 2017, the IMPACT TB Consortium conducted a workshop with Nepali stakeholders.

The IMPACT TB Consortium organized a workshop with the Nepal National Tuberculosis Center on 3 April 2017 titled IMPACT TB Consultation Meeting of stakeholders involved in the policy of active disease detection in Nepal: Successes, Challenges and Research Priorities.Mr. Mahesh Sharma and Professor Nat Lönnroth chaired the meeting.
This workshop provided information about one of our main objectives (to ensure that we work in close partnership with the Nepal National Tuberculosis Center and to engage all stakeholders throughout the project period to work towards the END TB strategy in Nepal).Delegates discussed the current status of active disease detection and the comprehensive care model in Nepal, the global evidence base, and research priorities.In the afternoon session, participants were divided into small groups to discuss in detail future research priorities and strategies for identifying coordinated research programs.
