IMPACT TB holds a policy workshop with the National TB Programme of Nepal

A workshop entitled

“‘IMPACT TB consultation meeting with Nepali National TB Programme and stakeholders on Active Case Finding Policy in Nepal: successes, challenges and research priorities’

will be held on 3^rd April 2017 in Kathmandu.

The workshop will be attended by experienced stakeholders in TB control in Nepal and active case finding experts from International organisations to share experience from other countries. The aims of the workshop will be to Review current policy and experience of active case finding implementation in Nepal, review perceived facilitators and barriers to active case finding scale-up through discussion with the experienced stakeholders. And Identify research priorities for active case finding in Nepal that can be addressed within the IMPACT TB project and future grant applications. The workshop will also develop a roadmap for how to translate research findings into policy and practice.
